For most Italian-Americans the name Ferrara is synonymous with delicious Italian pastries in Little Italy. They have been creating these Italian delicacies since 1892, and are definitely doing something right! Now I must admit, this was not my first time here, but I had to feature it on my blog or else what sort of an Italian would I be?
My most recent visit was to buy some pastries for Thanksgiving dinner. In my household, we don’t just do turkey, we do Italian and turkey! So this year, we featured a lovely lasagna, homemade by my aunt, and I provided the pastries by Ferrara. We got a variety of cannoli (chocolate and original), sfogliatelle, napoleon, and fruit tarts.
Enjoy the photos and try not to drool!
